How it works
Before the shoot
Once you’ve booked your shoot and it’s in the diary, we will discuss the day in a bit more detail and I can answer any questions you might have about your family, newborn, portrait or special event session. I can get to know you a little better and you can tell me the type of things you like to do as a family, that you might want to capture on your shoot.
On the day
The shoot is all about having fun and enjoying yourselves. The best pictures happen In those moments when everyone is relaxed and comfortable. I usually arrive early in the morning (or afternoon) and meet the family, then start taking photos! I find this is when everyone's energy levels are at their best and the mornings offer great light - but we can be flexible with timings and work around anything you would like me to capture.
We will spend the morning (or afternoon, or the whole day!) doing the things you love to do as a family, there’s no need to pose or look at the camera. I like to capture the moments naturally as they unfold but can help with a little direction if needed.
After the shoot
Your photographs will be ready between 2-3 weeks after the shoot. I will send over the images from the day once I have edited them all. Once the images are ready you will be able to view and download them from an online password protected gallery.
